To find others researching your Family Names start with the County Links in the lists to the far left of every page. The county pages provide alphabetical lists of all the Surnames listed for each County
To send a message to a contributor, you first need to register (see below), then login. Once logged in, you can click on the contributors name in any of the lists and send that contributor a message regarding their entry. You will also receive a copy of the message sent. I do my best to ensure that all the email addresses for contributors are valid and working.
To start your search with a place name, you can either click on the place link on any of the County Surname Entries, or go direct to the PLACES PAGE and then Choose a County to get a listing of ALL place names withing that County. The place pages contain usefull information and links pertinent to that place as well as listings of the Name entries associated with the place
Use the SURNAME SEARCH Function located in the MENU BAR at the Top left of every page. Clicking on SURNAME SEARCH opens an input box, enter at least 3 letters and the results will contain ALL exact entries and those starting with those letters, or containing them, as well as Soundex alternatives.
To ADD your own Surname Interests to the site, you will firstly need to register - using the Grey Register Button in the main Menu Bar (Top Left), once registered you may login (using the LOGIN Menu Item. Once you are logged in the Menu Bar will change to include an item labelled MY PAGE - this will take you to a page where you can ADD, AMEND or DELETE your own entries.
If you have lost or forgotten your Username or Password then use either the LOST LOGIN DETAILS or CHANGE PASSWORD menu items - enter your email address in the box which appears. You will be sent a reminder of your username and a link to reset your password. If you cannot find the auto email withing a few minutes then please check your spam or Junk folders just in case it has been sent there in error
To change your email address or other registration details, first LOGIN as above, then use the CHANGE DETAILS menu item which will appear once logged in.
If you are having any difficulties or would like to send me a message asking for new features please use the form located under the adverts at the top of every page. If you include an email address I will respond to you as soon as possible.

are giving you the opportunity to view the 1911 census at a vastly reduced cost until 31 January 2012. View a 1911 census original image for 10 credits (previously 30) and a transcript for 5 credits (previously 10).
This offer is especially beneficial because they've just published the 'infirmity' column of the 1911 census on 1911census.co.uk. If your ancestors completed this part of their census return, you'll be able to see information about your family's health in 1911. Under data protection regulations, this sensitive information remained hidden until now - we've just made it available for the first time.
